Hotel Top Amaika is a large modern hotel with an ornate Titanic inspired interior and located just one block from the sandy beach, and one kilometre from Calella train station. The 228 air conditioned guestrooms have light, modern d�cor with coordinated fabrics. All open up furnished balconies and amenities include satellite television, minibars, direct dial telephones, hair dryers and safes. Half board and All Inclusive room rates are offered.

An extensive buffet of traditional Catalan dishes as well as European favourites is served for breakfast lunch and dinner in the informal hotel restaurant. The hotel has two swimming pools, including a children's pool. Guests can relax with a drink at the poolside bar, or unwind in the sauna, spa tub and fitness room. The kid's club keeps younger guests (ages 4 to 12) entertained and the hotel offers an extensive programme of daytime activities and evening entertainment, including live music and cabaret shows. Guests can take a free shuttle bus to any of the other hotels in the group; the bus runs three times a day between the properties. Guests have free access to all the H.Top hotels, bars, restaurants and services along the coast from Canella to Lloret de Mar, with activities offered ranging from archery, and rifle shooting to water polo and scuba diving. There is health club, free of use to guests, at the Royal Star hotel in Lloret de Mar (20 kilometres away), with a gym, heated indoor pool, hot tub, plunge pool, sauna and Turkish baths. For golfers, special rates are available at the PGA Catalunya golf course. Guests can spend lazy days on the beach 100 metres away, explore the town of Calella, or head further afield and visit the Dali Museum in Figueres, 100 kilometres away, or the city of Barcelona with its excellent shops, restaurants, museums and Gaudi architecture. Girona Airport is 40 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes by car, and Barcelona Airport is 74 kilometres, approximately 50 minutes by car. All Inclusive plan The All Inclusive rate includes the following: room accommodations, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant; all local alcoholic beers, wines and spirits and soft drinks, tea and coffee from 10 AM until midnight; snacks including burgers and salads until midnight and ice cream for children from 8 AM until 6 PM; evening shows and daytime activities; kids mini club (4 12 years); an evening at the Medieval Castle (includes dinner), and a flamenco show at the Gran Palace (mandatory bus fare applies to both excursions); free shuttle bus to all the other hotels in the group and use of all facilities at these properties.

Driving Directions

A typical taxi from Girona airport will cost 60 EUR. Trains from Girona take around one hour and cost 4 EUR, alternatively buses are available and travelling time is 75 minutes, cost is approximately 5 EUR. From Barcelona Airport, a typical taxi fare will cost 75 EUR. Direct trains run from the airport to Calella; travel time is approximately 105 minutes and cost 4 EUR; alternatively buses are available and travelling time will be approximately 95 minutes and cost 5 EUR. Calella train station is one kilometre from the hotel, for direct links to Barcelona and other towns along the coast, although a hire car is useful for exploring the surrounding region.
Driving directions: From Girona airport follow the N 11 in direction of Barcelona, until you reach Calella. From Barcelona airport, follow the AP 7 highway in the direction of Girona, when you reach Granollers take the freeway, direction Mataro on the C 32 highway to Calella. Exit highway and take the N 11 direction Barcelona.
