The Grand Hotel in Porto Cervo is housed in a large complex facing the Cala Granu Bay on the Costa Smeralda, 150 metres to the beach and two kilometres to Porto Cervo. The 115 guestrooms are decorated in bright, summery colours and feature light wood furniture. All open onto balconies and are equipped with satellite television, dial up Internet ports, direct dial phones, safes, minibars and bathrooms with showers.
The hotel has a 400 square metre outdoor pool area complete with a bar serving drinks throughout the day, and guests can soak up the sun and swim at the public beach, 150 metres away. A separate splash pool and a kids' club are provided for children. For those keen on more strenuous exercise, the hotel offers a fully equipped gym, two tennis courts and a mini football field. After a workout, guests can relax with a Finnish sauna or a massage. Diners can head for the Italian restaurant, which specialises in Mediterranean dishes and fresh seafood, and the Orange Restaurant experiments with a fusion of Italian and Oriental flavours in Eastern surroundings. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby and guests can access the Internet for leisure or business purposes (surcharge). Other amenities include a hair salon, currency exchange, laundry facilities and a conference room that can accommodate up to 120 delegates. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can advise on sightseeing opportunities, provide room service and arrange transport to and from the airport. The hotel's location means that guests are only two kilometres away from Porto Cervo's piazza and lively shops, bars and restaurants. Garibaldi's house is eight kilometres from the hotel, and Caprera Island and the ancient tombs of the Li Muri Necropolis are both 13 kilometres away. Olbia Airport is 35 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

There are taxis readily available from the arrivals terminal, costing approximately 60 EUR to get to the hotel. Alternatively, the hotel can arrange airport transfers to and from Olbia airport (surcharge). Bicycles and scooters are available for hire near the hotel. A hire car would be useful for travelling further afield.
