Sant Alphio Garden Hotel Spa is a modern, traditionally designed Sicilian hotel with fine views of Taormina, Mount Etna and the sea. This four floor hotel features 156 guestrooms, all of which include air conditioning and satellite television. The decor is summery and Mediterranean, with wood furniture, pale yellow walls and Italian tiles on the floors. Amenities standard to all room include safes, Internet connections, fridges and ensuite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.
The property has its own private beach, as well as a large outdoor pool with sundeck and a swim up bar, serving drinks and snacks. Guests can try a range of treatments in the spa, relax in the sauna and spa pool, or keep fit in the fitness room. The main restaurant serves a selection of international and Italian dishes, including some vegetarian choices, with views out over the hotel garden. After enjoying a meal, guests can relax with a drink in John's Bar. Away from the hotel, golfers can tee off at the Picciolo Golf Club, 20 kilometres away. The closest airport is Catania Fontanarossa; approximate driving time is 40 minutes and distance is 50 kilometres.

Driving directions: From the airport, take the A1 motorway in the direction of Messina. Leave at the fourth exit (Giardini Naxos), and join the SS114 in the direction of Cantania. After 1 kilometre, turn left and follow signs for the hotel.
